We will wrap up Swing Kids this week as well as discuss the Weimar election simulation that   led to Hitler eventually being  chosen as Chancellor of Germany.

Field Trip to the Museum of Science Wednesday.
Have your permission slips and $10 in ASAP.  Talk to Mr. Loranger privately if money is a concern.
Work will be left for those students who choose not to go.

This is a short week with the Columbus Day holiday.  What was the Columbian Exchange?

We will focus on Fascism, Socialism, Capitalism and Communism this week and see if we can  understand how Hitler came to power in Germany in a democratic election.

Quiz grade for the week will include preparation and presentation in class  of Weimar simulation roles assigned this week..

This week we will recreate the 1932 Weimar election which led to the Nazi take-over of Germany.
A quiz grade will be given based upon your participation in the simulation.
You will have to understand the basic political positions of the Nazis, Socialists, Communists, and Center Party to complete the quiz.

Honors reading on the Treaty of Versailles is due this Friday.
Next Monday is Columbus day: homework due next Tuesday/Wednesday:
