Honors Influenza Reading

This week's selected reading comes from Andrew Nikiforuk's book, Fourth Horseman (of the Apocalypse.
The first rider represents the world of God, wears a crown and sits on a white horse.  He represents light and hope (think of Gandalf the White in Lord of the Rings)
The second rider represents war and sits on a blood red horse and carries a big sword. He represents the power of government which sends men to war and the destruction they bring.
The third rider sits on a black horse and holds a scale to measure prosperity and famine which was a constant threat.
The fourth horseman looks like the Grim Reaper. He rides a pale and sickly thin horse. He  carries a sythe  and represents disease, pestilence and death.

Due Wednesday.
15 facts on the reading.  Make sure to include the page number with each fact.
5 questions with their answers.  Be sure these are not one word answers.
Reaction to the reading.  What do you think of Nikiforuk's writing style.  What about the topic.

Include at least one "ah hah" moment, this is an insight and connection to today you gained from the reading  or one "IDK" (something you don't understand)

Reading due Wednesday (October 5th)
