20 facts, 10 on foreign policy (WWII) 10 on domestic policy (what went on at home)
List 5 questions and answers from the reading and 1 ah-hah or 1 thing you did not understand.
Also, comment on Doris Kearns Goodwin and her view of FDR. Did she admire him? Explain.

Homework this week:
Due Tuesday: Finish the DBQ questions on Stalin. Also, list on a "T" the good and bad points of Stalin's rule.

Today is the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the beginning of the collapse of the Soviet Union (11/9/89)

We will watch a short video: The Berlin Wall was a Monster.
Why was the Wall built? Why did it signal the failure of the Soviet system?

On Tuesday 28(1) and 28(2) are due.

Wednesday is Veterans day (11/11), formally called Armistice Day

Friday 26(5) Revolution and Civil War in Russia is due.
