Week of November 7, 2016

Tuesday is election day, and's it reminds me of Gerald Ford's  reference to the end of Watergate:  "our long national nightmare is finally over."   I am looking to the end of this election season, and no matter who  wins, hoping that the new US President can unify the country after this divisive election.
I want you to be able to follow the election coverage and be able to analyze the election looking at the following electoral map.   Circle the key swing states on the back of this sheet and predict who will be our next President. 

Homework for next week: Mahatma Gandhi cited 7 Social Sins afflicting western culture.  Choose three of the following and explain why you agree or disagree with Gandhi's observation.  Explain how Gandhi lived his words.  Would Gandhi be happy or unhappy with western life today?
