Week of May 6, 2013


CE week 4-4 is due by this Friday
This week we will catch up in the class with the homework
We begin the week  looking at how William the Conqueror became King of England in 1066 and the rise of national monarchies in the High Middle Ages.
We also study the often misunderstood religion of Islam, the role of the prophet Mohammed, and the impact of Islam on medieval Europe and the Renaissance.
There is no new homework due this week; it is a good week to catch up on missing homework.
Progress reports go out this Friday.
Be ready for a quiz on material covered this week on Friday.
