Tuesday: DBQ Essay:  What is the best way to deal with aggression, collective security or appeasement?   Be sure to use MoBaTh (motivator/hook, Background, Thesis statement) in the opening paragraph.

Week of October 20, 2014

There are only two weeks left in the term.  Make sure you turn in your current events. 
The quiz this Friday will be based around a key issue which caused WWII, should you appease a dictator or use collective security to stop him?  The quiz will include an essay which deals with this issue.  This essay can be completed at home before Friday's quiz.

The honors class reading was moved from last Thursday to Monday.

Due Wednesday:  DBQ (Document Based Questions) passed out in class on Monday

This week we will be broken into groups to recreate the 1932 Weimar election that allowed the Nazis to come to power in Germany.  They would not release their hold on Germany until they were defeated in WWII.
