Research project

Mr. Stanton's Research Project: 

Due Date March 26, 2018 

We will be researching the role of the individual in making history.  You do not have to research the whole of a person's life, but you can look at one specific part. ( i.e.  how did Walt Disney create a theme part industry?  OR how did Disney help the US government to fight WWII) 

Four parts of the project will have to be presented to class in a power point or other type of audio or visual  presentation with at least 4 slides containing:

1.Background:

   Describe the time period this person lived, where were they born and their important characteristics

2. Obstacles- 
          what problems or issues impacted society at the time?

3.  Accomplishments-  
      What was this person’s major breakthrough/success/accomplishment(s)?  
       What did they invent or develop or confront to make life better and change society?

4.  Legacy- relevance to you 
          What is the lasting impact of this person or people to today?  How have they changed society?

A 2-5 page paper will be due and it must have a bibliography (MLS) with at least 3 sources.

The paper should include all the information included in the slides.
